What is the Awards Programme?

You are about to embark on the most enjoyable, challenging and rewarding programme, that will guide you through your journey into medical, dental or vet school. The Awards Programme is an incredible opportunity to develop your skills, meet like minded people and stand out as a UCAS applicant. Students who have achieved the Medic Mentor Gold Award are automatically put forward for an interview to obtain a £12,000 scholarship for university. So not only does the programme give students access to incredible Mentors and opportunities that boost their chances of successfully applying to these highly competitive courses, but there is also a chance to obtain a valuable scholarship for university. This is unlike any other Awards Programme out there, and it is specifically designed for future doctors, dentists and vets!

When Can I Take Part?

The Awards Programmes are ideal for students aged 14-20 years of age. Students can enrol at any time and they will be allocated a Mentor (a doctor, dentist or vet) and a Supervisor to support them through the award milestones.

Students can enter straight into Bronze (Explore), Silver (Skills) or Gold (Succeed) levels.

Each level will take roughly 6-12 months to complete, depending on how proactive the student is. It is also possible for students to bypass Bronze and Silver, going straight for Gold (because the awards are cumulative), but this will depend on how much has already been accomplished, and will be discussed with your Mentor, during your sign-up telephone consultation.
